The crowds erupted into a roar when the legend made entry and displayed his prowess in the game. A game that he went on to score a spectacular 60 points .

Demand for tickets was as high as a pivotal Lakers playoff game, ranging in the secondary markets from $700 to $10,000.
According to Stubhub, owned by eBay and the largest online ticket resale site in the United States, the most expensive ticket sold for Wednesday’s game went for $27,500.
It was an emotional day not only for Bryant, but for thousands of fans who paid tribute to the basketball player described as the “greatest” ever to wear the purple and gold jersey by fellow Los Angeles Lakers great Magic Johnson.

The 37-year-old Lakers guard played 1,566 games, his career also includes scoring titles, the third-most points in league history and a league most valuable player award in 2008.
