Egyptian president Abdel Fatta al-Sisi can now count on the support of Bahrain in its counter terrorism efforts to maintain its security and stability.
This was confirmed when King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held bilateral talks with the Egyptian leader, on reinforcing the Bahraini-Egyptian relations and discuss the developments witnessed by the Arab region.
“Stressing in this regard the importance of intensifying military cooperation to improve security and stability in the whole region which is facing the spread of terrorism and extremist groups,” said King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

President Al Sisi had proposed a joint military force by the Arab league more than a year ago but only King Salman of Saudi Arabia has so far agreed to the proposal.
The two side stressed the importance of Arab solidarity to confront the threats and interference aimed at undermining security and stability in the Arab region.
