Oscar Pistorius
Former South African Paralympic athlete Oscar Pistorius’ lawyers have expressed anger at the back and forth on how their client’s trial is going.
On Friday 26 they will be back in court following the state prosecutors appeal that his six year sentence for murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in 2013 is too lenient
Pistorius’s lawyers however filed court papers last Friday, saying that they will argue that
‘a continuation of this matter is inimical to the interests of justice, patently unfair and that enough is enough.’
Reeva’s family following the sentencing expressed no intentions of appealing the sentence saying the best thing to do is maintain a dignified silence and that nothing would bring Reeva back
