United States of America’s first lady, Michelle Obama on Wednesday took a swipe at Donald Trump, while addressing Hillary Clinton’s supporters.
At one of the first two appearances at the La Salle University in Philadelphia,Obama tore into Trump without ever using his name.
Together, the Obamas are being deployed by the Clinton campaign to try to whip up enthusiasm among Democrats who have been the president’s most loyal and passionate supporters.
“We know that being president is not like a reality show. This is not a learning and it is not enough to have fiery speeches or insulting tweets. The question is whether the person can handle heavy responsibility and lead this country, “ said the first lady.
She is also trying to mobilize young people in favor of Hillary Clinton, she says ‘the White House needs an adult to lead them’
“If a candidate is erratic and threatening if a candidate traffics in fear of prejudice and lies at the heart of the countryside, if an applicant claims that do not pay taxes is a sign of intelligence or that expelling people their housing is a good business. If a candidate makes regular cruel and insulting comments about women and how we look, how we act, well unfortunately we really know who this candidate is “
American Young people and minorities are traditional supporters of the Democrats. In 2008, two-thirds of Americans under 30 voted for Obama. This year, according to polls, five weeks before the presidential election, barely half of them intend to vote for Clinton.
