Congolese President Denis Sassou Nguesso has announced the creation of “humanitarian corridors” in the Pool region offering amnesty to rebels.
The pool region south of Brazzaville, plunged into violence in April 2016.
President Nguesso made the announcement after receiving a delegation of religious leaders from the Pool region.
He assured, government would not punish the rebels upon accepting amnesty and laying down of arms.
