The Morning Call
In this week’s culture segment we take a look at two controversial topics. We start with this case that shakes Hollywood.
Unless you live on the planet Mars you may have heard about this controversy around Harvey Weinstein, this powerful American producer accused of sexual harassment and even rape by dozens of women whether they are anonymous or actresses like Angelina Jolie or Lupita Nyong’o ‘,to name but a few.
This case of sexual harassment that shakes the American film industry is not unique to Hollywood.
In Nigeria also sexual harassment is problematic in Nollywood, the third largest film industry in the world ahead of Hollywood and after Bollywood in India.
