As a prelude to the fifth African Union – European Union summit that kicks off today November 29 in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, a counter summit scheduled to be held in the country on November 28 was banned by Ivorian authorities. But the question we are asking today on the Morning Call is why was it banned?
