African women volleyball Olympic qualifiers kick off in Cameroon

The highly anticipated Women’s African Olympic volleyball qualifiers kicked off today in Yaoundé, Cameroon.

The first match was between Egypt and Uganda that ended with a 3-0 set win in favour of the Pharaohs.

The second and third placed teams at the qualification tournament in Yaoundé will get another chance to qualify for the Summer Games at the World Olympic Qualification Tournament to be held at a venue to be confirmed between May 14 and June 5.
