Former Israeli President Shimon Peres has died in hospital at the age of 93 after falling into a comma two weeks ago.

He won the 1994 Nobel peace prize during his lifetime for his role in formulating a political deal with the Palestinians in the 1990’s.
The public will be allowed to pay final respects to him in parliament on Thursday.
Family sources say the funeral of Shimon Peres is likely to hold on Friday, and will be attended by influential world leaders who have been sending condolence messages.
Shimon Peres usually described while alive as the last surviving pillar of Israel’s founding generation, built the country’s military might.
Peres was born in Poland in 1923 and later moved with his family to British ruled Palestine in 1934.
