Equatorial Guinea frees 34 opposition figures [The Morning Call]

A presidential pardon in Equatorial Guinea leads to the release of 81 people including 34 opposition figures. President Teodoro Obiang Nguema issued the pardons on October 10 to mark Equatorial Guinea’s 50th anniversary of independence from Spain.
