Turkish authorities launch operation to clean up "sea snot"

The Turkish Ministry of Environment in collaboration with Istanbul City Council launch an operation to try to clean up the "sea snot" that is currently spreading in the Marmara Sea.

A thick, brown, bubbly foam dubbed "sea snot" has covered the shores of the Sea of Marmara, alarming Istanbul residents and raising new environmental concerns.
