Houston Zoo animals discover snow for the first time

On Tuesday, a winter storm swept across the southern United States, bringing unusual snowfalls.

At Houston Zoo, the animals discovered and enjoyed this rare snowfall.

The extraordinary storm covered Texas and the northern coast of the Gulf of Mexico, paralysing traffic and closing schools for more than a million students. The region is more used to hurricanes than snowfalls.
